Tlale makhene biography of christopher
Through the many workshops that Tlale held and attended, he came across a group of three Danish drummers known as Drums Across. They had been recruiting drummers in the country and naturally, Tlale came highly recommended for the group. Starting in Guinea, the group travelled around Africa looking for talent to work with. He was invited to perform, acquire more skill in contemporary musicology with them in Denmark for three months.
His work ethic permeates without him having to blow his own horn. They were highly impressed, to the point of identifying and affording him the opportunity to hone his talent and invited him for a tour starting in West Africa; to later invite him to return with them to Denmark for three months and work on musical projects. He joined them and went to record in Denmark.
While in that Denmark, he performed with the Copenhagen Rhythmic Conservatory Big Band and taught rhythmic workshops in Copenhagen as part of a cultural exchange program. The album was produced by Africa Mkhize. He has thus far released two albums, Ascension of the Enlightened, in which his ancestors communicated to him in an intimate manner, which he later translate to a highly appreciated album to his fans; as well as Swazi Gold, which pays homage to his maternal ancestry from Swaziland.
In the former album, the dedication was to his paternal ancestry in South Africa, which brought about his own transcendence and enlightenment to his calling. The later album is based on the music he grew up listening to and that has had a great impact on his career path.
